Your are not only to be commended for you excellent modeling skills but for your generosity and friendship to build such a beautiful model for a fellow Veteran as a gift. I’m sure he will appreciate it! Job well done! But what do you expect from a Marine!
Thanks Mel, making a model for a veteran always makes the work more interesting and important. I have done two others for vets, just my way of saying thanks for your service. Hardest part was making and putting Navy markings on an F-4. HEHe. Just did not seem right. Sorry Navy guy’s.
Hi Mayakovsky, thanks for the comments. As far as the stabilizors are concerned, I painted them in Model Master enamels. Firstwas Aluminum with the small panell being jet exhaust and the outbord portion is of course white. The leadind edge was also painted Aluminum. Same colour pattern on top and bottom.
