vehicle identification ( my build )

don’t think these are all that well known so i was wondering if people would recognise it. here you go, what is this:

i’m also wondering how many people will know the blurry bit of deck in the background but won’t know what it is that’s in the foreground. [;)]

SU-76. Panther deck in background.

damn, should’ve said not to give it away…

HeavyArty is the man. I bet that didnt take him long at all to figure at. Me on the other hand…

Wow I actually knew that one. Not the backround but the foreground.

i’m actually rather unhappy with this UM kit. the plastic is kinda brittle, there’s minor flash but i see lots of those dents in the plastic that i have to fill in. i can get over all of that, i had fun fixing things up but the decal sheet just fell apart on me, never had a chance.

s2s1 ? ??? and a panther g version ?

I’ve got three of UM kits, a Pz 38t, D-38 artillery tank (BT-7), and the T-34/76. I haven’t tried one. The 38t is first up and I’m waiting to get the Dragon T-34/76 so I can do a side-by-side build up and review article.

The T-34 had separate rubber (vinyl) rims for the road wheels, much like the Academy M60 & Merkava kits in 1/35 scale. I wonder how that will go in 1/72 scale.

update, here it is in all its over-weathered glory.

Su-76 and KingTiger’s deck(I think…)
Is this a 1/72 scale?

It’s a SU- 76 , but I have always liked the look of the SU-76 . I think Dragon produced one ?

Hmmmmmmmmmm would that be one of these.
Which would be a SU76. Bryan

technically, no one’s gotten it yet, it’s an su-76M. [:)]panther deck in background.

here’s the finished product:

(shameless bump)

Shameless “nice job!” [;)]

As you have seen, the Su-76 is a fairly well-known vehicle.
Sorry, Su-76M!
