Hey guys, how hard is it to get replacement parts for the Vega 2000 line from Badger. I am assuming you cannot use parts for the 150, 155, 175, etc to replace needles, cones, nozzles, etc for the Vega 2000? Am I correct. Not one hobby store or crafts store in my area sells replacement parts for the vega line, but for the badger line they are everywhere. I guess what I am saying is, should I go with the Anthem 155, or got with the Vega 2000. Thanks guys. I have a 50% off coupon at AC Moore and $10 off certificate. I could get the Anthem 155 for $68, or the Vega 2000 for $86. Thanks so much.
Badger has all the parts you will need but personally, since I own both of those airbrushes, I would go with the 155 Anthem as it has some really cool features and you can break it down for cleaning in about 30 seconds…faster than any airbrush made I believe.
I have not used the “new” Vega 2000 as mine is one of the last ones made by Thayer & Chandler before they went out of business and Badger acquired them.

You do right to try to buy an airbrush that you can get spare parts locally. Most internet shop wants $8-10 shipping for a $5 replacement needle.
I got my Iwata airbrush at Hobby Lobby which also stocks the replacement needle and nozzle for it. With the HL 40% off coupon, the parts are cheaper than any other airbrush brand. Any reason to make you hesitate getting the Badger instead of the Vega?

Let me also add that both of those airbrushes are pretty much equal in terms of spray pattern.
All of my T-shirt airbrushing was done with the Vega 2000. The Omni 3000 is also in that same category and is an excellent airbrush! But let’s not make it too complex. [:D]
