VALLEJO water based paint - SUPPLER?

What online stores can anyone recommend for VALLEJO water based paints for airbrush?

You mean Vallejo’s Model Air line?

MegaHobby (Stevens Intl’s online store), Squadron, Sprue Bros, to start with.

Hobbylinc.com has it.

Vallejo also has a “Game Air” line of colors for airbrushing. They are oriented towards game figures, and have some quite interesting colors.

I see that. Years ago I used only Tamiya paints but have since switched to Vallejo.

I looked carefully at all websites suggested here (about 5 or 6 sites) and SCALEHOBBYIST has BY FAR the most organized and best priced PAINT selections.

HOBBYLINC was a close second.

Hobbylinc’s shipping times are crazy long though so expect that.

EVERYONE HERE
You ALL made great recommendations for different websites. I reviewed them all and I think they each have something different to offer. I don’t think there is a one stop shop for everything.

However, some are match better organized than others.

A few years ago, a very large inexpensive Hobby store went out of business so I will now be ordering more stuff online.

We do have one very small shop in town family owned that I like to support, but they often don’t have much or can sometimes be expensive. But I do my best to support them when I can.

I would love to support locally owned hobby shops even with elevated pricing. Unfortunately there are none close enough to me that I can visit. Any of the great ones near me succumbed to the Amazon behemoth years ago.

I do buy locally if the prices are slightly higher. But do miss the large one we had.

I am with you in not wanting to support the Amazon beast before MODEL SHOPS! It is very tough! It is all about the search engine. I can find exactly what I want on Amazon!
I ordered some paint kits on Amazon, sent from a shop called “Modellbahn Ott”…Cool, I thought I will order directly from them! Well, I couldnt find what I wanted on their website so went back to Amazon…I got this shipped from “Modellbahn Ott”!
Being new, I do not have the knowledge to have a preference in paint so I use AK3GEN, and Valljo acrylics. I did order a basic colors 24 kit from the new “Kaleido Colorworks” started up from Gaahleri Airbrushes. I am going to give them a try!

In my limited modern modeling experience, the AK line of paints work really well.

They work well for me also. I love the availability of the “kits”. I have the problem of living in a climate with 10% humidity, so I am guessing Acrylics are always going to be a bit of a challenge.

Unfortunately, I live in an environment that is a sauna sweat box most of the year averaging 75% humidity.

Just wanted to report that SCALEHOBBIST has come through again by processing my order within 48 hours. They have been consistent with this over the years.

HOBBYLINC (sp) does also. NOT saying that other sites don’t.
