Vallejo model air colours for 1/350 Bismarck

Hi all,

I’ve just bought myself my first ever ship, the above by Revell. The thing is, I’ve no idea of which colours wold be advisable to use for the Hull, Deck and superstructure.

Could someone point me in the right direction, please? The paint maker doesn’t necessarily have to be Vallejo, but I definitely want to use acrylics.

I was looking for US Navy colors last night, and I ran across this:

I’ve used AK Interactive airbrush paint before. It’s good stuff. It covered well, but it did have a tendancy to clog the tip of my airbrush. Some have suggested a tiny-tiny drop of Liquitex Flo-improver.

RAL 7000, 7001 and 7024.

For future reference, you can substitute other black and teak.
