Whew!
love it when a plane has noseart like that. i am beginning to collect some photos of noseart from ww2. it is amazing to see the variety. very nice build. you represent the a/c very well.

For a moment there, i thought you were doing an XB-70 no one knew about! Great job on the marauder, swanny! Great job on the weathering! And where did you get the ground crew? [:)]
Swanny, another great job, real [8D].
I thought for an instant that you had also been building a XB-70… Well, I’m a touch disappointed… But your Marauder is superb…!
And who said blonds weren’t more fun??
Great Job Swanny!
fantastic swanny!![bow][bow][bow]
Matt,
Really nice build! How does the ESCI kit compare with the Revell Germany kit, or are they shared molds? Any problems encountered during construction?
Gip Winecoff
Excellent job there swanny.
Great looking Marauder, Swanny!
Excellent chipping and weathering.
looks awesome swanny!!!
Nice B26 but where’s the XB-70? Just kidding, I love nose art!

Jason
Very very nice!
As usual, looks good, Swanny !
awesome, again[:D]. that thing looks great. i guess i’ll have to do my 1/72
xb-70 valkrie soon.[:)]
Thank you, everyone. I really appreciate your comments.
Gip, I have both kits and will be doing a head to head review. They are not shared molds and there are a lot of differences between them. What was the hardest thing on this kit? Had to be the joints at the engine nacelles to the wings - real bad. Next would be the juncture of the fin and elevators.
The article on salting and weathering is up on my site now also.
Wow! that looks sharp! Where did you get the decals from? I have a Monogram Marauder in my collection and I think that nose art is cool!
Rebel, those are Cutting Edge decals. They went on nicely but shortly after they dried they started to crack and peel. Very disturbing.
I was looking out for an XB-70 too. But VERY nice job, Swanny! Great work on the chipped paint. The figures were well done, too. [tup][tup]
