Verrrrrry sweet! Both builds are jewels. I especially the subtle weathering. Too often it gets overdone. You’ve achieved the look that I’m working toward! [Y][:D][snWow]
Many thanks for your kind compliments, MAJ Mike! These are the works of my main modeler named “Art Instructor” who’s been building for me for over 10 years now. You should keep on practicing because they say “Practice makes perfect”.
Agreed with MAJMike.
The one thing that distracts from the good points are the tracks on the tank. The top runs are ‘floating’ while the right hand side front view shows the track not square to the tank, or toed in.
This can be corrected a few different ways. The tracks can be pulled down with thread (assuming they are rubber band type) and the ‘toe in’ can be straightened out by securing the tank to a base while remembering to catch the flaw.
The best results are always individual metal track cleats. They are not just model tracks but real tracks in miniature! Of course the cost and trouble are more than the kit, yet if its perfect tracks you seek they are the best answer.
But only if you practice “right”.
