Very nice job on this one especially considering the time he took to build it. Give my compliments to Pramuk, MM.
Lee
Thanks for your kind compliments, Lee! I’ll pass them on to Pramuk.
Love it! I have long thought the San Francisco was a beautiful ship. Saw the kit at my LHS recently and started saving up to buy kit!
A day and 1/2 ?? Ummm . . . . how? Forget about model skills and efficient use of time, we should be more impressed by Pramuk’s other abilities here: I suspect the use of a time machine.
Wow. Very nice work, even if it took a month.
Don, thanks for your kind comments. Agree that the San Fran was a beautiful ship with all-around armament. How much does it cost in LHS? I got mine from luckymodel’s sale for $29.99 -10% (for order over $60) = $26.99 + shipping ($15.45) (w/ other items ordered, this costed $11.24)
Bill, thanks for your kind comments and compliments!. To be more precise, he built the Minsk 1:550 and the San Fran in 3 days (full story on my page). So it might have taken him a day for the Minsk and two days for the San Fran. Even without eating and sleeping, 48 hours is too short for building this ship. For FSM builders, I think they’ll need 80 hours or more. I don’t know how he managed to do it.
Earlier this year, he built two ships (Bronco’s LCS-1 1:350 & Trumpeter’s PLAN Ning Bo (Russian Sovremenny Class Destroyer) 1:350 in four days. Read the story and see images in this page:
I think that the LHS wanted just shy of $100 for it.
$100.00??? Wow! Mine is selling both versions for $59.00 each.
