Here we go! USS Franklin D. Roosevelt CV-42.

I’ve picked up a “started” CV-60 kit as well, for $ 10.00. I’m going to try the old article to add a full hull to the Midway class flat bottom.

I’ll be watching this, I’ve got the same FDR kit in the stash. EJ

i’ve got 3 of that class of carriers that i will extend the hull to full hull by using .030" thick 5mm wide strips in the bread & butter method so it will be hollow. used that method on the revell norton sound model plus the torpedo bulges on the revell 1/426 scale arizona & pennsylvania.
