As I try to improve the Lindburg kit, I can’t find any forward overhead shots of the anchor chain layout and the Howser pipes.
Does anyone have any ?
USNHC photo. Not direct overhead, but bridge level looking forward.
My photo interpretation skills say a centerline capstan with anchor chains laid out P&S towards the hawse holes.
You need to get to the archives in DC/College Park. The list of holdings at NARA for the Carronade include plans. Unfortunately they have not been digitized for online access.
