I purchased Vallejo alcohol based paints which I use on figures. I am not sure I am using them properly. What is the proper method of mixing and applying them.

Vallejo are water based acrylics. Some alcohols will cause them to coagulate. You can thin with tap water, but I prefer to use bottled distilled water.

Some of the Vallejo metallics are alcohol based–and you have to use their thinner, or else they will rust…
