Great! What do you do in the AF? I was a KC-135 chief from '89 to '94.
Thank you
Thanks, glad to be here!
I was in maintainance from 83-87.
I was a 42751 Corrosion Control Specialist.
Fancy AF way of saying I worked in the paint shop, painting airplanes.
I know the outside of an RF-4C PhantomII, like the back of my hand.

Hope I can still join. I am in the process of building an RC-135M that my dad flew recon missions on for many years.

Yes, welcome aboard! I’m really glad to see a -135 in the build, I was a crew chief on KC-135A, Q and R models.
Rember what I said a while ago:
Don’t count me in yet, but I’m thinking of joining with a PJ vignette from “Airborne Miniatures”.
Now I’m recosidering: is it allowed to join with a build from another GB?
I’m “working” ona a Pavehawk-Dio for the H-60 GB. I could join with this model; maybe two GBs for the same build will be a bigger kick in the …
Hey could I join in with an E-3 Awacs from Stinker i mean Tinker AFB. If so i will do one of my birds that I worked on there for this GB.93-94.
I have been working on a pair of 1/48 Monogram F-84F’s, one for the Rev-Mono GB and another one for this GB. I got the Rev-Mono one done for the Illinois ANG and have the second one in the decal stage for the Indiana ANG at Ft Wayne. I have to add the red bars to the national insignia along with a few other of the smaller decals. Decals are from Aeromaster and the paint is Model Master enamel. A couple of progress shots.

Ok, I’ve decided to do my old 1/72 Hobbycraft F-89D Scorpion for this build. [8D]
I just finished my second 1/48 Monogram F-84F Thunderstreak. This one has the markings of the 122 Fighter Interceptor Wing, 163 Fighter Interceptor Squadron, The Blacksnakes based at Ft Wayne, Indiana. The decals are by Aeromaster and the paint is Model Master Aluminum Plate.

If it’s not too late to join this one, I would like to join this with another RM 1/48 F-106A (and if I can find where they’re at, SURPRISE markings) and a RM 1/72 X-15 that will be SOBbed (for those of you that don’t know, SOB means Straight Out of the Box).
A bird from another build is OK by me, Avus. Let me know what your final choice is.
Welcome aboard, it’s good to have another 707 owner join up.
I’m embarassed to admit that you’ve finished yours before I even started mine! And what a beautiful bird!
If you feel like doing another one (or ten) for this build, feel free. I’ll get the badge done soon so you can add it to your trophy case.
Beauty! Can’t wait to see your Scorp.
Another Six? Great! Welcome aboard.
Ok, so count me in with my 1/35 Pavehawk-Dio.
I’ll post pics of my status in the next days.
Beauty, looking forward to it.
Will you accept a lady into your Group Build? I raided hubby’s stash and found a Revell, 1/72 F-89 Scorpion that can be built as a D or J model. I like the J model with the markings for the ANG unit at Fargo, North Dakota. I will have to do some research and find out the unit number and designation. I think that their nickname is the “Happy Hooligans”!

You’re accepted gladly. Welcome aboard!
