US Ship color

I have a Yankee Model Works USS Sumner. I would like to know the shade of grey for US ships in the 50’s. I read an article a few years back in FineScale Modeler on how to mix haze grey for 1/350th scale ships. Is there anyone out there who knows what Testors paints to mix for the proper shade?
