Currently i having some problems on identify the colours of US digital pattern uniform. i have chosen some colour from tamiya , They are buff XF-57 for base colour and two digital pattern colours are light sea grey XF-25 and Medium grey XF -20. Please correct me if i am wrong . [bow] . I only saw desert digital camonflage uniform, Is there any woodland type digital camonflage uniform? How many type of digital uniform use by US army ?
The US Army only uses one digital pattern uniform, called the Army Combat Uniform (ACU). The colors are a medium sand color as a base, with pixels of a gray-green color, and then a light-medium green pixels on top of that. Sorry, but I have no idea what Tamiya colors would be close, I don’t use Tamiya paints.
Check this article at Armorama for a tutorial on painting it.
As a note, no idea where he got the pic of the long-haired dude wearing the ACU, but he should have tan-colored desert boots on, not black boots.
In addition to the Army ACU’s. The Marine Corps currently has two digital camo patterns, a woodland, and a desert pattern. Also the Air Force is field testing a blue based tiger stripe digital pattern. Do some web searches for the patterns and you can get a rough idea of the colors.
Thanks , Those link and info provided me great help .
