Updated FW 189 Cockpit and glazing photos

Hey Guys,
Here is the lastest photos of my AIrfix 1/72nd FW 189. The ribs and stringers were made from Plastruct 0.5mm square rod. The motor for the rear gunner’s window is made from 3/32 brass rod. The rudder pedals are made from .040 strip. The bomb site is 0.5mm square rod. The instrument panel is .040 srrip sanded down. I have yet to coat the “glass” in future, but will do so soon.
I am still doing things by the TLAR (That Looks About Right) method. It is hard to find good interior shots for reference, my thanks to all who helped lead me to what little reference is out there, and thanks as always to my beautiful wife who once again helped me post the photos.
Cheers,
Eric

BEAUTIFUL work, Eric!!! [:)] I love to see detailing using raw materials, Bravo!!

There’s an old saying of mine… “Don’t AM parts save you trouble… Only if you’d rather spend less time Modeling” [;)]

Thanks, looking forward to seeing this come together! [:)]

Take care,
Frank
