Up Close and personal with an EF-2000 Typhoon

Sent to be by my boss. I don’t know where it’s from or what’s particulary going on.

Now that’s flying.

Sign on the back of the A/c from which the pics are being taken…

HEAD IN PARKING ONLY

Now something else that would be amazing to see is the front of the Typhoon acually parked inside of the lead A/C. But would never happen!

I bet the pilot was thinkin’ " hope they dont drop any camera gear…". Must’ve been a bumpy ride in the Typhoon.

Just a follow up, my guess is it’s a photo shoot for a calender or some promo or p.r. shot.

WOW that was some cool pohots.

Thanks

Bud

Well, I think it’s perfectly clear what’s going on in the photos. He needed his canopy cleaned [:D]

Definately a photo-shoot, I’m not sure of the aircrafts nationality, might be British. I live near where the new RAF fighters are tested and they are FAST! Its not often you see them slow down in the air like that. Cool photo’s-thanks for posting them.

It’s a new formation being tried out by the RAF. It’s called the “Look What I Can Do!” Formation.

AMAZING! GREAT SHOTS!

Thanks for posting them. The last two were “close”!

if not a photo op they could be testing turbulence levels for refueling purposes.

in ?'94 I thought I saw one one these acfts being tested (Lakehurst) for catapult.

Brian

Yeah!! But that close i think not.!!! Someone might be visiting the C.O’s officer when these are seen. The pilot of the Typhoon me’s think then the photographers followed by the aircrew of the lead aircraft. Great shoots of the aircraft, great for your office wall.

I guess it’s pretty close when you have to tell the pilot to smile.

Wow that pilot must be great. One wrong move and the whole thing could go belly up.

Great Pictures [tup]

If there was any belly left at all! Cool pictures none the less!

Wonderful pictures for my impending Eurofighter build. Thanks.

Hi guys,

It was part of a film shoot for BAE:

“This film came about because Eurofighter decided it needed to create an impression at air shows. The eight minute film provides an adrenaline rush, rather than the usual corporate stream of facts and figures, however the narrative is designed to support the central message that Eurofighter is a multi-role aircraft capable of dealing with different tasks in the same mission such as air-to-air combat, defence, air support and air-ground combat.”

Thanks for the scoop on the pictures, kokpit.
