UN peace keeper white, how white should it be?

Hi folks, I am about to start on the Revell-Germany 1/72 British Warrior MCV. I am plannning to do the UN peacekeeper version. The instruction says the color is white. I wonder how white it should be. Is it pure white (I mean like Tamiya XF-2)? Or should I mix some grey on it? I look at many photos on maganzines and many UN vehicles do not look like pure white in color. I plan to use light gray (used on my CF-101 Vodoo) with white (Tamiya XF-2) 50/50. Is it right? Or should I try somethings else? Thanks.

Pure white is a rarity due simply to wear-and-tear, dirt, etc. I usually go with Light Gray whenever I want to portray white as a result.

Anthony, the UN vehicles I see here in Afghanistan start off white from the paint shop, but aquire a dirty look from the conditions here. I would think that white mixed with some gray would work for your Warrior, followed by a wash to bring out the details. Sounds like a fun project, good luck.
