UH-1B Viking gunship

This is my first Huey model. I came across a picture of a UH-1B Viking gunship of the 121 A.H.C. squadron in Vietnam and decided to build one because being from Minnesota I love anything Viking related. The forms here were very helpful in my research, so a big thank you to all that posted Huey information. The kit is the UH-1C Huey Frog by Academy Models with the Cobra Company UH-1B Backdate Set. The figure is cobbled together from the parts box and the missile tubes made from Sip Stix straws. The decals and Pabst Blue Ribbon cans are custom made

Your Huey is amazing , The detail work inside the UH-1B is awesome , so is the wethering to the outside .

Just saw this one in person! It is on display at The U.S. Army Basic Combat Training Museum at Fort Jackson, SC. The model/surplus aquirer says he has maintenance logs for it.
