Howdy,
This is my build of Wave’s Uchikoma kit in 1:24 scale. The kit is built straight from the box and it was a joy to put together and paint. It has fully movable joints and pleny of different choices for armament.
Hope you like it ![]()

Awesomness. I always liked these guys, cute killer robot spiders. Nice job on it.
Very nice. I’ve got the Tachi, and the seams were a bear to remove. You did an excellent job, and the subtle weathering is very good too.
Thanks for sharing it.
nice!
did the Ucichoma kit follow the tachikoma?I have mine in the box, but have not started it yet. I found some GITS patches at a con last year and will put tem on the base with the Tachi. I will most likely paint the Major seperately and display her alone. I still never have found a 1/6 version of the Major that I liked…where did you find this kit? HLJ?
I actually bought the little guy in Tokyo while in a business trip, along with some MaK and Gundam models…I had to leave behind a pair of shoes to make room in my suitcase for the models I bought [:)][:I]
Wow! Nicely done, and what a great subject! I love Ghost in the Shell, in all of its permutations, and the robots are great little characters in their own right.
I’ve seen the Tachikomas as die-cast items, I think they were, each with a different character figure from the series, but I’ve never seen this kit. Really great, and well done!
Regards,
Brad
Shoes are cheap, avialalbe anywhere.
WAVE kits…get em while you can!!!
Yes, the Tachikoma kit came out first, then the Uchikoma. I built the Tachikoma kit and put it on a lighted mech base. The seams were a bear, but it was a fun kit to build.
