This is my Hobby Craft 1/35 Hummer I’ve been tooling around with for the past couple months. Again I must apologize for my grainy pics as I only have my web cam. The second base coat of white is finished after having ruined the doors with a wash which was too dark. The window glass and head lights have yet to be added and the tail lamps repainted [they caught some overspray from the repaint]. I also included some of the reference photos.

Some of you Hummer officianados may have noticed that my frame is white instead of the “proper” black. That is not an error. As you can see in the few ref. photos I found of this vehicle, all show that the visible suspension gear is all white instead of black. The floors of the interior are white also. I must assume that the frame as well was painted white from the factory as well. The exhaust is rusted as should be though it’s hard to see from the pic. I only artistic licence I took with this build was the snorkle kit i added which still needs to be painted. I may not weather this one and finish it in a semi gloss. I’m also building a long range desert version which is a custom. I also plan to build the white Maxi-ambulance next. Any input would be gratly appreciated!
