Got used to having four engines on the building table and working on just a Pedbro was not doing it for me so had to start another twin - my old ESCI B-26B is under construction also.
The Pedro is coming along nicely also, right wing, elevators and nose section are all in place. One wing and main canopy to go then I can start thinking about some paint.
swanny you’re a machine!![:)]
i saw a post about the b-26 earlier…how does this esci kit compare to the revell one (which itself took a bit of a bashing![:p])
does this mean if you do a single engined fighter you have to do yor very own one man group build…in squadron/staffel strength!!![:0][:p][:)][:D][8D]

nick
Actually, yes. I have in mind to build my MPM SB-2 but will have to build two MiG-3s with it to maintain four engines on the table. Compulsions are such a B----.
How does it compare? I have both kits and I don’t think there is any comparison. Yes, it does need some putty, the plastic is on the soft side and there are a few fit issues but the dimensions are right on the money (something Revelogram can’t say) and the interior detail is outstanding.
Good idea, Swanny… I have no less than 12 engines on my desk at the moment… 4 (Concorde), 4 (Il-76), 1 (ER-2) and 3 (727-100)…
i’ll have 2 on my workbench for the first time in my life. (tamiya Me-262) let’s see… right after I’m done my M1
I gotta get me one (or 4) of those little Martian dudes.
Engine count:
8 jet engines
1 rocket engine
2 paired DB engines
1 tank engine

Very nice, Swanny. I particularly like the colors on this one. The red seats and green interior gives out a really nice contrast. Keep the pics coming, please.
Looking good so far swanny. I only have 3 on my desk right now. 2 jet and one car.
Only one engine on the table here (not counting the 8 engines on the back bunner) P-51C from ICM.
I have an odd 7 engines on my desk right now: 1 F-86F, 2 PBY, and 4 B-58… What color did you use for the interior? looks very nice! With the yellow going on the edges i almost thought it was a cut away model! [:)] nice work, Swanny! I’m sure you’ve done things to that but it almost looks out of the box!
So far it is OOB. This kit is tough enough without any extras. I’ll be using some ols Aero Master decals on this one - a nice nude that I’ve been saving.
Hmmm… that doesn’t sound like you at all! [:p] then again, you have all the aftermarket parts in the pedro to make up for it!! [:D]
Got 2 on the desk… A Panzer IV and a Spitfire Mk. XIV… 3 next to the desk… A Me-109G6 and a mig 29… Not counting the as good as done M2A2… Got one on the ironing board. A Tiger 1… One on the coffee table. A King Tiger… Don’t know how many engines are on the snow speeder under the desk… There’s also a spare Maybach tank engine in the tank repair crew set on the sofa.
Yes, the girlfriend is on holiday.
