Tuskegee Airman P-51D B.O Davis

I need help from all of you. I am in process of putting together a P-51D that B.O Davis (Tuskegee Airman Commander) flew during WW2 (a gift for friend of mine). I was unable to find any P-51D pictures with visible nose art and tail number. I think the side number was 7 but if anyone can confirm this I would greatly appracite.

Again, thanks for your help.

Let me look in my book about the Tuskeegee boys for you, it’s got a lot of photos. I’ll get back with ya shortly!

Ski, this is all I could find about B.O. Davis’s bird.

The diamond colors appear to be Black and white checkers, red and yellow stripes, yellow, and red. I also found the name of Davis’s P-51C. It was called “By Request”. Hope this helps a little!

Hey Ski,

I found this… I saw something about “Ina The Macan Belle” but I am not sure if thats his mount as well or just what I have posted. I’ll see what I can find in my ref material as well. This is what I could come up w/ in a short time given…
