Here is something I have been working on (along with the Sherman Group Builds) It is Revell’s 1/72 Panther. Seeing so many good builds of braile scale, I figured I’d give it a try. So far, it’s been pretty fun (although my eyes are somewhat crossed now [;)] )
This is after the final coat of Red Brown, in the 3 tone camo scheme. I still have a ways to go but, here is the progress:
Hey! Well done. That’s the kit I built for the Group Build. Yet, it’s far from the best of Revell’s little tanks, I assure you, Eric…! Given the quality of your work, I hope you won’t give up on small scale AFVs…!
congrats on a fine job so far !
lovin’ the camo ! [tup][tup]
i’m kinda surprised u went with a Panther 4 ur first 1/72…
still, now u can do revell’s 1/72 Tiger next !
(after ur eyes uncross, of course…) [:p][;)][:D]
welcome 2 the wonderful world of braille scale !
Chris, get their Merkava III. A jewel. Their Cromwell is supposedly superb too. Their M1A1 is also an older kit, though it’s not bad, but you’ll notice the difference straight upon opening the box.
Looks great Eric. I’m still contemplating if I want to try another small scale. If I did to many then my wife would probally say I did not to get any more big ones.
Thats excellent so far, much better than my stuff… of course, you have an airbrush to work with, I gotta do everything by hand now cause my airbrush has caused me enough crap. keep up the good work.
Erock, after successfully conquering the 1/16 realm, it seems that you are off to invade the 1/72 lands as well. And you are off to a great start I might say. Well, actually I could not expect less from you. I just hope that you’ll get out of this one with eyes still straight. LOL.
