Just picked up the Tirpitz kit.
I see it is mostly the same sprus as the Bismarck. As far as I can tell, there is only 1 spru that is different.
Can anyone tell me what it would take to build this kit as the Bismarck?
Maybe search for the Bismark instructions. That may tell you. I know on my king George V they have certain holes marked with a K and others with P…because the parts are similar for the prince of wales. That’s what made me think the instructions would tell you.
I have compared the instructions and searched on the net. Not very enlightening. I did find mention that some parts for the Tirpitz are actually incorrect and are correct for the Bismarck.
This will be my first ship build, so I’m not even sure how to research the differences between the two ships.
Anyone else got thoughts?

That should get you to a forum that will keep you busy reading for quite a while.
