One of my favourite builds, TrumpeterA-37B, this would be my 3rd build of the Dragonfly, but something different, a Peruvian scheme.
It’s not as well known as the A-10 Thunderbolt II that replaced it in US service, but the A-37 still goes hard in many South American air forces! A fantastic representation of a fantastic subject
Good work on your A-37.
I like this airplane, but have only become aware of its existence in recent years. The A-37 has a bit of an animal look to it, perhaps a platypus is what I’m thinking of, with that flattened and rounded nose. Or maybe I’m just imagining that.
I didn’t know that it was the precursor of the huge gun with a plane built around it, otherwise known as the Warthog.
Great job! The A-37 is such a cool looking plane, especially when it’s loaded down with all of its ordinance. That Peruvian paint scheme is awesome looking on this air frame too. How does the Trumpeter kits compare to the old Monogram/Revell kit?
I have never built or seen the Monogram one so I can’t compare, but the Trumpeter one is an enjoyable build.
What did you use for your antenna?
