Hey guys!!! I recently heared a rumor that Trumpeter is planning to make the A-6 Intruder ,EA-6B Prowler and the S-3 Viking in 1/32 scale!!! Can anyone verafy if this is true!!![:0][?]
Haven’t heard anything, but man, I’d LOVE a 1/32 Intruder.
WHere would you put it? That sucker will be HUGE! I have problems with some of my 1/72 scale birds, like my B-52s’ and my B-36.
A compleate set of all carrier aircraft in 1/32 would be awsome!!![8D][:D]
A 1/32 A-6 would be big, but a 1/32 Viking? You might need an FAA license to buy it! Gimme, gimme, gimme

FAA hell you would need property insuranse just to display it. Go for it. Is the Viking really that much bigger then an Intruder or Prowler? i have never seen one so I can’t judge the size difference.

viking has a taller tail and longer wingspan than the Prowler, not sure about length…

Kolja94’s photo above is the EA-6B Prowler. The Viking looks nothing like it. The Viking is a high-winged aircraft, and has twin turbofan engines, one under each wing, hanging from pylons. It’s built by Lockheed. It is designed for ASW (Anti-Submarine Warfare). It’s the same type of plane that President Bush landed in on a carrier in back in 2003. Hopefully, you saw that on TV.
I think he meant overall dim’s.
A 32nd S3 would have to be the full origami - folding wings, tail, radome, pilot - everything ![:D]
I know what the VIking looks like but I didn’t know how much bigger it was compared to the A-6 platform. Thanks for the info.
I heard it was actually going to be a 1/32 B-52 G and a C-5 A that was coming out from trumpeter… [8D]
They have already announced a 1/48 FW-200 Condor. That’s big enough for me. Also a 1/48 Vigilante which is definitely on my buy list.
I heard Trumpeter is coming out with a 1/32 scale Spruce Goose!

I was reading (probably in this forum) about a company in England build 1/16 ? C-17 I saw the pics of it and this thing is huge. Remotely opperated, flyable, with dropping rear cargo doors. I think they had plans ot do demos of it flying around, landing, and having remote control tanks, jeeps etc… drive out the back. Now I can get rid of my daughters bed… widen her room and she can sleep in side it… hell if I can sleep on the floor of a C-130 she can sleep in a C-17 
lol, so can anyone say us modelers are not obsessed…
