I added a Quinta Studio cockpit set, AFV Club Have Glass canopy and Reskit resin wheels. It’s not a bad kit but very hard to handle as it’s bloody huge in this scale and awkward to handle.

Grant, you put out absolutely amazing displays.
This one is just that much better because all black aircraft tend to look like toys due to the overwhelming monochromatic finish, but you’ve managed to make it look interesting and multi chromatic yet still black. By far one of the top 10, if not top 5, black finishes I’ve seen on a plane.

Thanks mate, yeah I wanted to break up the black and make it weathered. If you are just going to paint something like this one colour, for me, I wouldn’t bother and just go buy a diescast model.
That looks great! The different shades definitely make it look better. I’m not an aircraft builder, I’ve done a few but this one makes me want to pick it up and give it a go.

I have a couple of itches to scratch, probably a car and a ship. Have a break from the aircraft and broaden my modelling mind.

It’s a good kit for a big aircraft…no fuselage seams to clean up. It just gets awkward to handle due to the size.
