Does anyone have any info on the Trumpeter 1/24 scale kits? I saw a few of them in Avenel Hobbies yesterday while I was picking up some building supplies. The Bf109 and FW109 kits look very enticing to me. As most of you know I’m building the Airfix 1/24 Stuka right now, and it’s about to send me to the looney bin. I’ve never done so much puttying and sanding in my life. I am however, impressed with the level of detail and impressive size of the kit. I think I would like 1/24 to be “my scale”. The Trumpeter kits are fairly expensive. I think they were around $155 each. I would hate to spend that much money and have to deal with the same tribulations I’m suffering through with the Airfix kit right now. So any opinions yea or nay, what you’ve seen, what you’ve built would be appreciated. Thanks.

I haven’t built any of them, but they have gotten pretty good reviews,… One of our members, Pix, built the Rufe & it was very impressive.
