Tornado is coming

Hi all

I’m first time on this forum  as you can see my nickname I’m from Poland but live in London for last two years. Anyway I’m starting to collect all information about Tornado Tigermeet 2001/2002. Any pictures of cockipt or pilots uniform will be appreciate, I will show how my work is doing of course but it will be about 2 months before I will start. That will be my third plane done with airbrush and all the stuff need to build good looking model. I’m still leraning ofcourse so any advise welcome. Please excuse my English if there are any mistakes [;)]

Regards to all modelers.

Welcome to the forum, looking forward to seeing your work.

Cheers Swanny

I probalby started my ‘forum adventure’ wrong way and looks that no one has took it serious so please check this post on Monday and I will put few pictures of my Revell 1/48 F4U Corsair just… can not figure how to do it. I know it’s a shame but I hope that some one will help me.

Part of the lack of response may have more to do with the what your asking for. That is some pretty specific info you are looking for and it may simply be that no one here has access to that sort of thing. I wouldn’t even begin to know where to look for that sort of info. I wish you luck though.

Welcome to the forums. posting pictures is alot easier than the instructions make it sound. I will tell you how I was taught. First you have to upload your photos to a web hosting site. photobucket.com is what I use. One you have uploaded your photos to photobucket you will see some links listed under each photo the one you want is the one labeled IMG code. Copy and paste the IMG code right into the posting box on its own separate line. It will look somethimg like this in your thread .

[IMG]http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q133/Stinkey1/IMG_0395.jpg[\IMG]

I purposely changed just one thing so it would not appear as a photo so you could see what it should look like. It is callled IMG code. It will not appear as a photo when you write your thread but will appear as a photo when you actually post it. Give it a try if you have problems just let me know and I will do my best to help you. Hope to see some pictures from you and once agian welcome to the forum. Do not ever be afraid to ask a question. You will not find a forum with better people anywhere than here. I believe this is the finest forum on the web.

So as I promised there are few pictures of my latest beast. It’s just second plane I’ve made with airbrush and weather it unfortunately I didn’t know about special liquid for the decals so they are a little bit shining. It took a lot of time to paint the stripes instead of just putting the deacals but well…I like challenges. Any comments are welcome!

Looks good polak! I like the subject, very colorful. Keep posting pictures of your work and do not be afraid to ask questions. That is what we are all here for to help each other improve our skills on ever build.

I have the official web-site but there are no any pictures of the uniforms.

Anyway I have contaced 321 sqn in the Germany and they send me some pictures of the pilots and few clues where I can find few more.

You’re welcome.

Glad it helped. I was sure I saw a group photo of them in their flightsuits somewhere. If I see something, I’ll post it here.

Very nicely done, Polak, especially for your second aircraft! I am especially impressed with your weathering, it looks very natural and realistic. Hope we see lots more of your work on here, and [#welcome] to the forums! Most of tghe decals look fine, just a bit of foxing on a few; as you mentioned, a bit of MicroSet and MicroSol will correc that in the future.
