I am currently building a Spitfire and want to incorporate some barass into the landing gear to accomodate the weight of the resin add-ons. Any way… I am [:)]looking for the best way to get brass to stick to brass. I don’t really want to mess with solder but may have to. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Wedson,
Superglue could always be an option, but I’ve found that “sweating” the solder onto one side of the brass pieces, then putting them together and heating them with the soldering iron works very well.
I’m sure someone else out ther ewill have another idea - good luck!
Cheers

If the parts are telescoped into one another super glue would be more than up to the job. Two part epoxy would be another good choice.
Epoxy or solder are the two best methods I know of. If you are not an experienced solderer then go with the epoxy.
Good luck!
