Tiny 26, odd too

Minicraft’s 1/144 B-26 being modified to represent the sole XB-26H which was built to test the tandem arrangement of landing gear later found on the B-47 and B-52. Currently working on creating the two outriggers that in the engine nacelles. Already did the work to produce the decals, as seen in the first pic.

Looking Good !

Bud

Say that looks like a neat one! I build that kit a LONG time ago… painted it with Testors silver (with a brush[:O]) and flew it around. That was probably one of my first airplanes ever. Keep up the good work!

Nice work. I’ve got a soft spot for the B26. It was the first (and only completed) WW2 kit I did. Seeing a nice project in 1/144 and a conversion at that makes it even more interesting. I’m biased though toward the small and odd. You don’t see a lot of conversion projects in 1/144. I’d love to see more how-to’s. I’d welcome some build ups, conversions, reviews, whatever in 1/144. Tell us more about this little beastie, please.
