Tig's mantlet

i need reference photos from the coax gun in the tig, from the exterior and interior (if its possible… and with the MG installed ¬¬) thanks

It’s not going to happen, unless you want pictures of a model. The best pics are the ones I showed you already. Also, say Tiger Instead of tig, it’s a little confusing.

ok. i think ill have to guess the possition of the mg there. sorry for that “tig” thing, but i’ll try to dont do that again

It’s nesseled to the immediate right of the main gun. Has it’s own triggering mechanism. Quite a contraption.

Yeah, that’s the one I showed to him on Swanny’s forum. Well, it’s a slightly different angle. I think it’s interesting how complex one of these machines is.

i know were the mg is ubicated, that i want to know is which part of it is seeable from outside

and i also want to know other thing of the tiger, where were the fifth crewman and what labor he did

The last 5 inches of the muzzle is all that’s visible from the outside. The crewman are

  1. Commander - controls the vehicles operations - picks targets
  2. Gunner - fires - tells which ammo for the Loader to load.
  3. Loader - loads
  4. Driver - drivs
  5. Radio Operator - he mans the pintle MG 34 and operatates the radio. He is to the right of the driver

I think I got it right.

okay, so i suppose the fifth integrant, for me, was the gunner. and what part of the tank he cupied? i suppose in the turret, no?

Yes, he sat right in front of the commander, but a little lower and to the right. Do you see on the mantlet (from the outside) the two holes (sometimes one)? Those are his sights. He sits directly behind them (about 2-3 feet). The academy kits box top and sides have a great view of this.

ok, thanks
