Hi guys - I just finished this diorama alongside my T-34 one. I actually completed Carius and his Tiger I (Takom kit) a while ago, but never got around to building a diorama until recently. It took a while to build, but most of the time was spent thinking about the setup. The infantry are from Tamiya; the lovely fir trees are from RT Diorama - highly recommended! The trees really made the scene in my opinion. Thanks for looking, comments and critics welcome.

Thanks Anthony… In case anyone is interested - you may notice I left off the “217” decals. Following photos of the real tank, it no longer had numbers on it in July 1944, when Carius commanded it. It also seems it was missing the tow strap (or whatever it’s called) on the side of the Tiger. So that’s why I did what I did.
Great looking diorama. Really like the outdoor pics, adds depth and immersion to the scene. The pine trees set the area and look great.

Very well-done diorama. By bringing it outside and providing the background it really threw this diorama over the top.
Thanks @TigerII and @Mobious! I had taken some work in progress pictures outside earlier in the project, so I wouldn’t have to set up my lightbox. I liked them so much that I took more when I completed it.

I absolutely love this build. Especially the red-oxide primer that is visible where the Zimmerit is peeling off. Great detail!
