Tiger I Ausf. E reading material

Hi guys

Last week I received my book ’ Tiger Tank Owners Workshop Manual’ , a book Terry Burke first brought to my attention in a post on this forum.

I got it from Amazon, brand new for 18 bucks and I will tell you,it is one of the most fascinating, readable books on the Tiger I (or almost any tank) I have ever read.

It is really the story of the Bovington Tiger, its’ restoration , upkeep and history. everything from crankshafts to Zimmermit to starting it up and driving it, it is all here.

A great book from Haynes Publication ,by David Fletcher,David Willey and Mike Hayton.

I wouldn’t usually go out on a limb about something like this, but if you are ‘into’ Tigers, or even just German technology at the time of WW II , it is an exciting book… I can’t put it down, have read much of it twice!

Just thought I would pass it along

thanks,
