What is the color of the interior of a Tiger 1?

well i will prob get shot over this but i’ve only seen white but and i repeat but it gets stained from smoke and powder from the gun academy said to tent with green how true that is i don’t know

I believe almost all german panzers had an ivory interior color .
I may be wrong here , but that is what I have seen on many of them so far .

I typically use flat white w/ a little tan or buff added to it…
I have also used flat white/ with green to tint it… I would guess it’s your choice…

Scroll about halfway the page where ‘interior colors’ is mentioned. I was aware of the ‘ivory’ color called elfenbein. The rest is new info to me too!

Wow this is something. I didn’t know that there was such a dispute over the interior color. I thought there was one color foe every german vehicle.

The order to stop using Ivory and leave the interiors entirely red inside went out in September 1944. This seems like sheer idiocy, but there are surviving Panthers and Hetzers with 100% red interiors. The complaints from panzer crews were so loud that at the very end of 1944 the Ivory paint was officially reinstated.
