[tup]Beautiful job, I love the decaling part when the plane truly come to life. Will there be any weathering?
Just of interest: I notised on your last thread that you unmasked the whole plane before decaling. I assume that you are decaling on a glossy surface, but are you going to put on a coat of flat, and if how will you mask the cocpit?

Beautiful bird…thanks for sharing!

Great looking bird, thanks for the pics.
Great looking model. Nice job !

Johan,
The plane is finished. I sealed the entire base (Alcladll) with future before decalling, no need to “flatten” an nice NMF finish.
Steve
Very, very nice NMF! It is hard t o achieve a realistic metal finish like you did. Thanks for sharing.

That’s one magnificent build, and I found the panel contrast to be just right. It will change every time the lighting and the angle it is viewed from change, as it should. I want to know the secret!

Love those old nmf jets! excellent build. Thanks for posting.

Beautiful picture of a SAC bird that is not a multi-engine bomber.

Oooh! That is a sweet build.[^] I really like the look of the NMF. Great job and thanks for the pics.
Good one, Steve.
Thanks for sharing, mate.
Very cool Steve, thanks for the look…
Indeed this one is among the finest that I have seen. Especially the cockpit area, you must have taken months to get that right.
Congratulations !
is that an Eduard set in the cockpit
very very nice build. Since it is an NMF bird, I’m guessing he wouldn’t flat it gilmund…
Thanks to all,
Mike: the cockpit is OOB except for the throttle lever assembly which I scratched from the spares box. Details are hand painted, I even used the silly decals for the belts and the gauges.
I know what everyone means now about Tamiya decals… they gave me fits and are too thick, Micro Set had very little influence on them. I was determined to build OOB so I used the kit decals.
