Three Panthers and more to come ....pics

Some of the gang that’s been around a while know that I started off mid last year with the goal of building as many Panther variants as I could get my hands on, I’m making progress…The DML early A, the G, and the D early command tank…next up is the DML Panther 2, that is ,unles my 3&1 comes in at the LHS!

Steve

I love those Panthers, crockett, especially the middle one. Great builds.

They look great, Steve. I really like the cam on the G. I’ve had to stop work on my Tamiya G for the time being. I’ve got a couple of other kits with non-negotiable deadlines. How was the DML A? I’ve read that it is miles ahead of the Tamiya A.

Thanks Jason, I know you’ve seen 'em before …zzzzz…

Bill,
I’m sorry to hear your G is in delay mode, I’m looking forward to checking it out, the DML early A is a very good kit. Upper hull to lower hull can give some problems, and I also had to counterweight the turret so I wouldn’t have a “Gap” at the rear due to the weight of the Aber guntube, other than that she’s a winner.

Steve

All are excellent builds. Very nice painting of the figures BTW.

Regards, Rick

Looks great! Did you make the zim from scratch?

Everybody loves the G but it’s great to see your A and D versions. IMO not built nearly as much as the G. Can’t wait to see the Panther 2. Not to wish you bad luck, but perhaps your 3in1 will be delayed and you’ll finish the Panther 2. [;)][B)]

Good ‘ol I-beam, glad to see you survived the Superbowl! That Panther ll is bummin’ me cause I gotta build those Indy tracks, no Fruil’s available!! I haven’t done that in a while.

Guy, that is AM eduard brass zimmerit, as you can see it is very uniform and I agree with my pal Jason (JWest) that it really doesn’t look as rea;istic as I would have liked, I’ve got my Milliput and my zim tool ready for my next zim job, I’ll do it by hand next build that requires it,

Steve

Nice work. I like the ambush pattern on the night fighter.

Happy building!

Mike

Yep, it was very cool. Got really intense downtown Friday and Saturday. A couple places were selling beers for $12 and margaritas for $15, talk about price gauging!!. All the outter towners were bummin about the weather. They expected Florida Sunshine and temps in the 90’s. I kept telling them JACKSONVILLE ISN’T MAIMI, IT’S JACKSONVILLE AND I’M GLAD I’TS NOT MIAMI !!! (Yes I did have to yell, can’t seem to get through to those outter towners). P Diddy only showed up to one of the three parties he was supposed to be at and then only at 1:30am through the back door (if your interested in that). Oh wait this is a modeling forum [;)] We can get the airbrush out all year round but you gotta wear a jacket some of the months.

Always enjoy your quality work Steve. I like the A myself, the camo is very authentic. Got any Jagdpanthers lined up?

Outstanding job on those Panthers, Crocket. Great collection you got there.

Very respectable Steve. Give me one of each! [bow][bow][bow] Semper Fi, mike

Thanks everyone,

Hey Eric, what are you trying to get me into here? I never thought of it ,but the JagdPanther is a variant, along with the Bergpanther, Flakpanther,Beobachtungspanther …AAAAAGH!!! this could go on for the rest of my life!!!

Sorry Steve. [:I] The Jagdpanther happens to be one of my favorites. Don’t forget you have to do the Panther family in all scales. [:-^]

I thought we were buddies Eric. Very funny…By the way, you wouldn’t happen to know a good lawyer would you, because if I obsess with this, I think I’ll need one. My better half, just tonight, mentioned her displeasure as to how much time I was spending in the shop “playing” with my models…Help!

We are still friends Steve. [:)] Better to be in the shop, then in the bar. That way, wifey can keep tabs. No complaints on my end.

Nice collection Steve. Beautiful work, Looking forward to the rest of 'em.

The Ausf D is my fave here , that camo is just great .[8D]

Awesome work there on your collection[:)][tup]
