When I click the link in the index page, http://cs.finescale.com/f/, to open the thread, the page displays this error:
I can refresh the page with the browser refresh control or F5, and then it loads successfully.
When I added a reply and clicked Save, the page threw off the error again. Again, reloading the page gets around the error.
Not a business critical issue, because we have a workaround, and we don’t have too many threads that are that long or longer. But we do have some, and the forum’s software should be able to handle this case.
Happens to me on the recent aqquision page, when clicking on The post if the newest on the front page. Can immediately go into the thread listing part of the page, click on The thread, then go to last page and it will load okay.
I’ll pass this along to the online team. I seem to remember this coming up before. I have the same issue when clicking through the Recent Activity list. However, finding it from the Ready Room doesn’t seem to cause the problem, nor clicking a link like the one you provided. Little consolation for those used to scanning the Recent Activity roll and clicking through that way.
It looks like it’s been fixed. I can now access that post from the menu, from my Discussions page, and by copying and pasting the URL of the thread into a new browser tab/window.
