Is this possible? I’m trying to paint a jewelery box I made and painting with a brush is causing to many streaks. I was thinking about thinning but didn’t know if I could thin the mentioned paint. Is there any other paint that I can get around town like from wal-mart that I could thin to use in my airbrush. I’m in a small town and don’t have a hobby shop near by.

The crafts section in Wal-Mart should have acrylic paints for <$1.00 such as Folk Art. I’ve used them thinned with Windex and work fine for me. Most would say they’re not great quality paints but worth a shot if you ask me.
Oh and I’m not sure about the Acrylic Latex Enamel. I asked myself the same question once, too.
Acrylic latex enamel should be in the same class as latex house paints, and so would probably be water-based (you didn’t say what brand or make). Try stirring a small amount of paint in a palette or cup with water and see if both mix well. If they do, then water is your thinner for that paint. I’ve read of a guy in this forum who airbrushes water-based latex paints for his R/C creations, so it should work well for you, too.

the brand is krylon. I got it at wal-mart in the hardware dept. I guess its tech name is Krylon acrylic latex enamel.
