Hey all,
this is revell of germanys Dr.I in 1/28 scale I think. Its really big anyways. I built this one for my wife, she asked for a biplane, and well I kinda went overboard [:D], teach her to ask for a model. Enjoy the pics.

Rick, my wife did apreciate it, out of all the kits Ive done, this is the only biplane/triplane out of em all. I just hate doing all that rigging, and have never gotten the hang of it.

Very nice triple decker !
I detect some difference between the fabric surfaces and the fuselage. Are they painted differently ? Flat - vs - gloss ? Different surface textures ? or just the angle ?
Anyway - It looks very cool.

the model actually does have a little different texture between the wings and fusalage, but I think its mainly my bad photographic skills
