My compressor has been vibrating its way across the cement floor while I’m airbrushing, like a player in one of those old vibrating football games. What can I put underneath it to keep it from wandering off?
A foam rubber mat might help
Super Glue!

put some soft rubber pads unsed the compressor’s “feet”, it should have enough friction to stop it moving arround.

I’d try this stuff or something like it. It worked for a fan I had that wanted to walk.

I put one of those rubber patio tiles under mine, the type used for play areas with kids. It does not completely eliminate walking but greatly reduces it (I did it for lower noise, as it sits on a particle board cabinet). There are pads sold just for the purpose of reducing noise and walking with power tools, but those things are a bit too pricy for me. For a jig saw I put down a couple of those self-adhesive corkboard tiles, works about the same as the patio tile.
Super glue suction cups on feet. LOL!
Give it a stern talking to.
Hi;
Mine used to do that in the Garage . I guess they don’t like concrete floors . I got an armrest Pad from Auto Zone for a console in my car . It was Sheepskin . The thing hasn’t moved for months now ! T.B. P.S. And , boy is it quiet now !
Furniture cups!
I have my compressor on a plastic table. It walked badly. Tried the anti-skid matting, but that was no help at all. Tried putting it on the floor, but I didn’t like that. I want to see the gauge with ease. What about furniture cups? They worked for the most part, but it still walked a bit. I know! I have double sided duct (Duck) tape. Furniture cups secured to the table with that. Problem solved. No more walking. Solid solution!
I have one of those rubber kitchen drawer liners under my little compressor to stop it from “wandering”. I think that I found mine at our local Dollar Store.
