I agree. The Pz II’s were some of the first vehicles to arrive end Feb/early Mar with 5 Pz Light Div & overpainted, but by the time they would’ve got to this condition, they simply wouldn’t have been there. In the early days of DAK, the problems of supply shortage wouldn’t have been so great. Once Rommel took Tobruk, then things started to go pear-shaped for him in that dept. Come Ops Battleaxe & Crusader, he would’ve been using a lot more Pz III’s & IV’s.
Still, a good first attempt. I’ve always been a little cautious at trying this teknik. But I do have DML’s sexy little Pz Ia that is screaming for this sort of treatment - just like the box art.
