This is funny as can be. There is a whole lot of truth in what he writes and a little bit of all of us in every line:tick:
Hehe, pretty funny, and a lot of truth in it. Specially about the anal retentiveness of the armor crowd.
True.
Good read [:)]. Thanks for posting.
Regards, Rick
Actually, it’s A.L. Lehron…get it?
I happen to know this guy personally and he’s not as funny in real-life as he appears (trust me)… he did some editorials over on Modelwarships.com awhile back that were hilarious…
Of course, it’s just a matter of time before his true identity is revealed…
Jeff
Ooh was he the one who did the ‘mutant’ articles?
Bwahahahahaha…funny stuff.
I found the same thing from Modelwarships.com on a armor froum that some one posted a long time ago. And they were not the lest bit happy what he wrote about the armor guys. Good stuff.
A.L. Lehron?
Sounds like aka …
Let’s just say that he now holds down a “respectable” job as an editor for a worldwide modeling magazine. Not some museum director in NJ (avaition no less).
Of course that’s just a guess.
I wonder who that could be…maybe someone working for the competition perhaps?
Jeff
In the words of the Church Lady “Could it be…[}:)]”
Ugh, I hate guessing games. Someone please, spill the beans.
I think this one is better left a mystery…
Let’s just say the witness relocation program is working out nicely for him…
Jeff
The witness relocation program sent him to Wisconsin???
Ohhh the humanity…

Smart-alec…
Vito and Carmine are in route to your (ahem) location to “discuss” this breach in security.

I’m sorry, but I don’t believe in evolution. Not even natural selection can explain why an aircraft modeler would suddenly resort to armor building, or vice versa (but wait; according to the article that would be devolution…).[:D]
Gip Winecoff
Gip,
I’ve always attributed it to excessive glue and paint fumes killing brain cells…
Ya know…one minute you’re singing along with Steppenwolf’s “Born to be Wild” and the next minute you’re singing show tunes and wondering if you look fat in stripes…errr…wait a minute…ah, never mind.
Jeff
How true! Thanks for posting that one, it certainly made everyone laugh at home!
Maybe we’re all just exposed to modelling in aircraft form to begin with. At least if we were young when we started. Such was the case with myself, then when my skills progressed, and my repertoire built, I felt comfortable enough to go with armor.
Hey! I’m a “Mutt” Modeler[:D] All these years I, I was suffering from a identity crises for nothing.
