The Last Warning (April 1944, Normandy)

The following is documenting my progress thus far of my first project of a series of dioramas about D-Day, called “The Last Warning” (he actually said “Irren Sie sich nicht, meine Herren, daß wird für die Allierte aber auch für uns der längste Tag werden.” (translated: Make no mistake, Gentlemen, this will be the longest day, both for the Allies, but also for us), being the famous words given during a pep talk to his High Ranking Officers by Field Marshal Erwin Rommel and warning them that from that day depended the sorts of the German Army in Europe. This subject always interested me, that I have decided to bring it back to life in scale as yet another warning to all warmongers of the world not to start them if they cannot finish them. But above all, also invoking the folly that war really is.
What you see here is a scratch built FLAK Bunker turned into a well fortified communication bunker in its very initial state.
This I call phase one of this scenario.
