Well, now that I have more space to show a few pictures more of my work on this diorama I decided to post the earliest stages of my build. The first station being the scratch building of the communication bunker, based on an Anti-Aircraft gun emplacement. This was not an Organization Todt Regelbau but a custom built one that saw its first examples in Africa. Some of these were scattered a bit everywhere in North-Western Europe and the only evidence I had was a general description which explained this kind of adaptation. So here are the very early photos of the bunker with a French captured Somua resin tank turret placed over a Tobruk structure as a protection and later, as an additional attack weapon during the D-Day landings.
Instead of starting a new post for each update, it is better to have one post and keep adding new replys to it. This makes it much easier to follow along with the build as it is all in one place.

Thank you HeavyArty for the suggestion. I didn’t think about it but now that you mentioned it, it seems indeed the wisest way to proceed. This only shows how “green” I still am around here.
If it wasn’t for such suggestions I would probably be navigating on troubled high seas.
