The Last Warning (April 1944, Normandy) Before my bedtime

I just could not resist and I simply had to see my Communication Bunker filled with those thingies I so painstakingly had worked on and here are the pictures. I left out the placement of wiring behind them because once the Bunker will be manned no one will see them anyway. All I still need to attach are the tiny wired connecting telephones, telegraph tablets, microphones and headphones, as well as a few frontal connection cables, but for now this is it.
On a second thought I decided to add the star antenna on the extended pole on one of the communication devices (the Torn. FuG. d2), I also slightly weathered it.
I also placed the medical disposal bin and the incinerator at the exit of the Bunker trench.
Without cabling it looks still not totally finished but at least it already looks ready to be live wired… :joy:

and for now this is really it. After I have wired all necessary remaining details I will be busy building the German field optical equipment and finish the two power generators that I will be placing underneath the wooden table at the far side of the Bunker.
The next stop? The Twilight Zone… well, not really,… it’s more mechanical stuff, building the vehicles, but yes, I am entering another reality for now.
See you on the other side…
