the God of models!!!

I recently purchased Legend productions Merkava IV… I know i know, another merkava… Rolling Eyesbut I couldn’t pass this bad boy up… all resin and PE… this’ll be a great treat for me!!! So here’s a couple of progress pics after I cracked the box!!

How much did that set you back? I marvel at that molding.[wow]

without the discount I get from my LHS (20%) it would have cost me 190 bucks after taxes, however with my discount I got it for 161.50 after tax… The molding is incredible… Thank G-d I got a dremel today to do it!! LOL

Don’t forget not to breath the dust. Gotta keep us updated on this one.[:)]

bah resin dust tastes good!!! LOL

Asbestos tastes better![xx(]

I look forward to seein’ you work on this one. Do you plan to, straight away?[8D]

yes sir! It’s already begun!

man i will be watchin’ this one![:D]–the castings in the pics look so extra crisp–is that my imagination or what?-- best of luck to you with this one, i am sure it will be special!!—treadwell

About time you got it Jimmy  That kit is awesome!! Ball chain armor galore!

Cheers

Rob

thanks treadwell and Rob!!! Ball and chains… finally legend got their instructions right on how to make them in the most accurate way, and it’s easy!!! I started cleaning the excess off of the big parts, but that’s it for now, I’m starting a new job, and I’m more white because of the resin dust, than I’ve ever been! This will indeed be my most challenging build as of yet! Treadwell, yeah the moldings are amazingly crisp, only the barrel has air holes that’s easily fixed… I’ll let you guys know of anything else… oh and the lightening holes, man you’d think for this much money they’d put them into the drive sprockets and idler wheels!

I personally love the look of the Merkavas, or Chariots. Don’t apologize for doing them. I mean, at least it’s not another WWII armored vehicle, (ducks under desk to avoid assorted thrown rotten vegetables) ha ha ha!! [B)] Oops, got me.
Keep the Merks coming, my man!
