A friend of mine, who is just getting back into the hobby after a LOOONNNGGG absence, is wanting to do the HU-16 Albatross from the movie “The Expendables”, however he does not have the wherewithall to be able to download/print any informtion from a computer, or to create the appropriate aftermarket decals, and would like to know if anyoen would be willing to help him with this. He will probably use the Monogram HU-16B Albtross kit as the basis .TIA.

Just as a point of interest: An old friend of mine, a WWII vet, was in the Navy at the time and was enlisted as an “extra” in “They Were Expendable”. He remembered meeting John Wayne and said he was not very friendly, and unfortunately my friend was just one of a crowd of seamen running down a pier in a brief scene, and not recognizable, as filmed in Florida.
He passed on in 2007- great guy and I miss him. May God bless and keep you, Harry Schwab!
