The Duke's Armor Update for anyone still interested.

Greetings everyone. All my progress threads always seem to fall of the first page so fast so I have to keep starting new ones. So since I had a little time to work on some models today, I figured I’d show some progress pics to anyone willing to peek in and see what I’m almost finished with.

I’ll start with some of the most recent models I started. This first in is my Dragon Sdkfz 251 with the Pak36 mounted on it. I didn’t get as much done on it as I wanted, but I was able to get some paint on the roadwheels and in the interior a little:

My PST KV I is coming along. I have the basecoat on and a clearcoat for decals and a wash:

My two little ACE guns are almost finished. I have them painted and clearcoated for washes. All that’s left after that is weathering.

My Russian F-22 76mm gun:

My 75mm Pak50:

This time I added a No. 11 Exacto blade for a size reference so you all can see how small this gun is.

My Pattons all have their decals on and a dark wash done. All except for the Marine one. I gave a black wash to the tank, but on the reactive armor I’m going to give it a dark brown wash. I have to get some; that’s why I didn’t get the reactive armor on my Marine tank washed yet.

That’s all my work done on my armor so far. I also got two helicopters almost finshed as well so feel free to check them out in the Helicopter Forum if you’re interested…

Wow, those are looking pretty sweet! some dullcote and weathering and most pf them will be winners! Those anti tank are PUNY!!

You are a factory in full production. The front spocket on the 251 had a rubber tire too so don’t forget to pint that like the road wheels.

Some good progress in action there Duke…how many total finished builds do you have now in your arsenal? [;)]

Thanks Jim. That’s the next step when I get to it. These should be dullcoated and weathered in a day or so.

Thanks Marc. I didn’t know that about the drive sprocket. I’ll have to goback and paint ALL my halftracks now! [sigh][swg]

Thanks Bill. I haven’t gotten a final count, but it has already passed 1,100 models. I’ll have to take the time to count them up once I get done with these.
