*Ok Its the best apart from Lee Lloyds

That is mighty impressive!
Thanks for the link!

Well that is some super work. Such dedication. Wonder if he’ll ever finish? LOL

A real jaw dropper-but so much of that will be hidden. To each his own says the lazy man (me).

Dan

That is some mighty impressive detail. Semper Fi, Mike

What are you trying to do Dsotm??!! I already feel about 2in tall when looking at the models in this forum. Now you go and bruise my ego even more. Thanks for nothing. [:(!][:D][|(][(-D]

Seriously that is some really inspireing work and great reference pictures too.

That is some fine work, but seems like a big waste if so much of it will be hidden.

Lee Lloyds work

AJ

WOW! That is really nice, he loaded that with PE!

Thanks for the link. That’s an incredible build.

For those of you who may have missed it, Lee Lloyd’s Tiger was the cover feature of AFV Modeller magzine, issue #15. If you want to see it, but can’t find a back issue, you can download it (PDF file) for $1 UK ($1.89 US).

The direct link is rather long and I don’t think it will work properly, so start by going to their store site…
http://shop.afvmodeller.com/customer/home.php

In the right hand column, click on ā€œAFV Modeller Article Archive (PDF)ā€.

Go to ā€œIssue 15ā€. Lloyd’s Tiger is the first article ā€œInside Job.ā€ The PDF is 15MB and contains a couple of dozen high-quality photos and Lee’s description of how and why he did it. At the time of the article, he had finished constructing the hull and was tryiing to decide whether he should paint it or not. Elapsed time? Around 17 months.

It’s certainly an astounding build and to see it is well worth a couple of bucks.

I was just going to say that the Tiger Lee did was in an ish of AFV. It trully is spectacular work.

I would weep as soon as I covered all that work up with the hull! Amazing, though

Holy cow!

Holy $#!+. That is impressive… damn.

Boy…wonder what would happen if Yacov and Lee built a model ā€˜together’?
Wonder if they’d ever finish with the level of detail they both seem to aspire to!
WOW!

Glenn

Amazing piece of work!

Wow, awesome work, I’d be leaving the upper hull off that for sure.

Just goes to show.
Doesn’t matter WHO you are or how GOOD you are…
there is always SOMEONE BETTER.

( although I can’t see how)

RE: Lee Lloyds Tiger , That is some fine work , but do you have any pix of it painted ? If that stuff was glued in prior to paint there is just about no way to get a nice clean paintjob the way the russian guy in this thread got from his interior , actually I prefer the russians tiger , Lee’s just looks way too crammed and busy to be an actual fighting vehicle .

After looking at this level of detail, I’m suddenly feeling terribly inadequate![bow][]

LOL;
